Jackson, Mich. — The Jackson County Board of Commissioners recently voted unanimously to partner with energy efficiency company Veregy for nearly $30 million in upgrades for 14 county buildings, including the airport.

County commission chairman Steve Shotwell recently joined WKHM to provide an update on the financial plan for the project, which will include heating and air conditioning updates, solar panels, heat pumps, reverse osmosis water systems and more:
