Jackson County Drug Summit returns in March and registration for the event is now open. WKHM’s Greg O’Connor spoke with Jackson County Prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka who said this is the first drug summit since 2019. Jarzynka shares who will be speaking at the event as well as what key topics will be discussed at the summit.

Jarzynka said previous summits have been productive, and helped create a number of positives like the ‘engagement center’.

The day will also include presentations by professionals and community members about the impact of opioid drug use in Jackson County, as well as prevention, treatment and recovery resources. You can register online here for the event.
