Waterloo Township, Mich. — The Jackson County Sheriffs Office has reported that a 35 year old woman from Waterloo Township has died in a single vehicle traffic crash on Friday, January 6th. The woman was traveling eastbound in a 2010 Suzuki SX4 on Seymour Road and failed to negotiate a curve near Willis Road, resulting in the accident. Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Stockbridge Area Emergency Service authority responded to the scene at about 1:15 p.m. Friday.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The crash is being investigated by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team, and speed appears to be a contributing factor.
