74 year-old Steve Camburn of Clinton has been identified as the man killed in a two-car crash that left two others injured on I-94 in Jackson County.

The crash happened at around 10:30AM on June 8th in the westbound lane of I-94 east of Sandstone Road.

A Ford Escape, occupied by Camburn and a Clinton woman, was rear-ended by another vehicle while it was stopped in the right travel lane. Traffic was stopped due to another crash being investigated near Dearing Road.

The impact caused the Escape to leave the roadway and rollover into a ditch.

Camburn suffered critical injuries. He was transported to Henry Ford Health where he later died from his injuries.

The female occupant of the Escape sustained injuries in the crash, as well as the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident, an 18 year-old Jackson man. Both were sent to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
