Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1300 block of baseline for a call of man reportedly shot in the foot on Saturday.  The victim was a 34-year old Stockbridge man who had allegedly been shot in the foot by a 32-year old Albion man who had fled the scene.

According to an Ingham County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, Deputies worked with troopers from the Michigan State Police Department and were able to take the suspect in custody as well as a loaded pistol.  The suspect is currently residing in the Ingham County Jail awaiting “arraignment on several felonies”.

The victim is in stable condition.
