Kejuan Watts, 18, was bound over for trial on murder charges yesterday Tuesday, April 5th, 2022. Watts is accused of shooting Sha’Nya Coleman Young, in the parking lot of The Log Cabin Party Store on Fourth Street in Jackson.
The shooting, which authorities have referred to as a “drug deal gone bad”, took place on August 25th, 2021. The pre-trial date will be scheduled soon before Circuit Court Judge John McBain.
Watts remains lodged in the Jackson County Jail on a 1 million dollar bond according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka.
