The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced that there were 1,601 cases of COVID-19 reported in the state of Michigan on Saturday. This is below the 7 day average of 2,146.

221 COVID-related deaths were reported in the state on Saturday. 205 of those deaths were part of a recent Vital Records review of previously unreported and undiagnosed deaths. The 7 day death average is 73.

To date, Jackson County has reported just over 8,500 confirmed cases with 194 deaths.

The state of Michigan has reported a cumulative total of 595,000 cases with around 15,000 deaths since March of last year.
