After severe storms rolled through the state of Michigan Wednesday afternoon many areas statewide are experiencing power outages.  Click here to view the Consumers Energy outage map.

Downed trees and power lines forced road closures in parts of the county late Wednesday afternoon.  McCain Rd. west of Dearing Rd. was not passable due to a power line that was suspended just a couple of feet off the ground.  Michigan State Police troopers were there to block traffic from the dangerous area.
