The Center for Family Health announces that all regularly scheduled dental appointments at their dental clinic will be postponed as recommended by the Michigan Dental Association. They will be seeing only emergency dental needs during this time.

The Center for Family Health pharmacy will remain open for patients who need prescription refills. If you have concerns about picking up your prescriptions, you are urged to call (517) 748-5500.

Patients with an appointment at any CFH site are asked not to bring visitors or guests unless absolutely necessary, to help limit potential exposure and safeguard everyone. Patients are asked not to visit any Center for Family Health site unless they have an appointment.

All patients are encouraged to call first before going to the emergency department unless they are having a life-threatening emergency. Patients and community members who suspect they may be sick with COVID-19 are asked to call Center for Family Health at (517) 748-5500 or the Henry Ford Health drive-through screening hotline at (517) 205-6100 before seeking in-person treatment.

People with the following conditions are at higher risk for severe problems if they become ill with COVID-19.

  • Age 65 years or older
  • Chronic lung disease (COPD, emphysema, etc.)
  • Pregnancy
  • Tobacco use
  • Conditions that weaken the immune system (cancer, diabetes, HIV, etc.)

Tips from the Center for Family Health:
