A 20 year-old man was assaulted and robbed Thursday night in Brooklyn, and managed to follow the suspects until they were apprehended by police.
It happened at around 8PM at the intersection of Water and School Streets.
The man was assaulted by multiple people and robbed of his wallet and bag. He managed to get to his car and follow the suspects’ vehicle while on the phone with 911.
Four suspects were stopped by police on M-50 and S. US 127. Two suspects were released at the scene.
Two Jackson males, 17 and 19 years-old, were charged with unarmed robbery. The 17 year-old was also charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.
The victim was treated at the scene for facial lacerations and minor injuries.
Investigators are searching for another 17 year-old male who allegedly took part in the assault and fled on foot.
