Friday will be the last day of work for Jackson City Manager Patrick Burtch, as he has taken a job as city administrator in Maumee, Ohio. Burtch will cash in unused sick time and vacation time to the tune of $73,000. That payout was not affected by a contract change that was approved by the City Council last December. He began working for the city in 2011 and became city manager in 2012.
