At halftime of Wednesday night’s match-up between the Jackson College Jets and Ancilla College Chargers Jackson trailed by just 4 points.  Just moments before the halftime buzzer sounded Jackson only trailed by 2.  Chargers 6′ 0″ freshman guard Rico Swanson Jr. drove to the rim with time running out, elevated, and crushed a thunderous dunk over Jets defender Stephon Jackson.  The move electrified the Chargers roster and really the entire gymnasium.

After the halftime break the energized Chargers began went on a double-digit run to seize a lead and would never look back, at times leading by as many as 30 points.  The final score was 98-78.

Jackson was led by Marcellus Freeman with 26 points and the radio broadcast named Jeremy Leonard player-of-the-game with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks.
