A 15 year-old Detroit boy has been charged in the fatal shooting of another 15 year-old boy.

The shooting occured early morning September 15th in the bedroom of a home on Detroit’s west side.

The teen was charged with careless discharge of a weapon causing death.

Emergency personel found the victim unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The boys were described as acquaintances.

A preliminary hearing is set Monday.
