Officials have removed 77 dogs and cats from a home described as “filthy” in Southwestern Michigan.
According to Berrien County Animal Control, the home’s floors were described as “mushy” from animal feces and urine.
There was a total of 66 dogs and 11 cats rescued from the home.
The female homeowner will likely face charges according to officials.
Unused animal control facilities were reopened to care for the nearly 80 animals rescued.
