Police believe two arson fires in downtown Jackson Sunday morning may be related. Fire crews responded around 6:00 a.m. Sunday to a report of a dumpster fire behind a business in the 300 block of W. Michigan Avenue. Police using surveillance video determined that the fire had been set intentionally. Three hours later a business a block away reported finding a burnt towel wrapped around a door handle at the business. Anyone with information regarding the fires is asked to call the Jackson Police Department at 788-4100.
