Sarah Lyman has been a staple behind the scenes with the WKHM program Good Morning Greater Jackson, and she was recently promoted to Member Success Coordinator with the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
Sarah recently attended the Jackson Leadership Program, and she saw it as a tremendous opportunity for those in attendance, “I definitely think that if businesses have somebody in their organization who they see can take on a bigger role, especially something in leadership, they should send them to Leadership Jackson. It is just going to help that individual grow. They’re going to learn so much more, they’re going to network with all the other businesses in the room. We were introduced to so many people in the community during this program, it was incredible.”
She encourages businesses to send someone who may have an eye for leadership, or someone who can readily share the tools they’ve picked up at Leadership Jackson “It seems like a no-brainer for businesses because they’re getting their name out there, and they’re going to have this employee come back with so much to share with the organization,” Lyman said.
“It’s going to come back ten-fold to them.”
