Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Accelerate Jackson County, Experience Jackson, and the Jackson Community Foundation to launch Drive Jackson — a bold 20-year vision plan for the future of the county.

Chamber Board Chair Stu Kail says they’re looking for passionate leaders from all corners of the community to join the Key Leadership Committee and help shape the plan.

Applications are open now through April 24. The goal is to build a diverse group that represents the full energy and spirit of Jackson County. Whether you’re a longtime advocate or just ready to get involved, everyone is encouraged to apply or nominate someone who inspires them.

Only 20 members will be selected, but there will be plenty of ways to participate in the planning process over the next year.

Chamber President Ryan Tarrant says the Drive Jackson initiative is a major step toward long-term growth and innovation for the entire community.
