Slippery road conditions possible for Thursday morning commute

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Jackson area:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST THURSDAY…

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation including freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze up to five hundredths of an inch expected.

* WHERE…Calhoun, Jackson, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties.

* WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Slow down and use caution while traveling.
