Both candidates for the Michigan House of Representatives seat are regular guests on AM Jackson with Greg O’Connor. Recently, Jackson Mayor and Democrat challenger Daniel Mahoney, and incumbent Republican Kathy Schmaltz were asked to address the current tone of the campaign. Kathy said she was forced to fight back.

Daniel said some of the ads are despicable and untrue.

One of the Republican Pac ads says Jackson is a dangerous place to live.

Mahoney told WKHM he has always stood with police and it’s part of his record.
