Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — It was a brief session but a busy one last week at the State Capitol. State Senator Sue Shink told WKHM an Exucation Bill has moved out of the Senate that addressed some key issues.
The Senate sent on to the house a package of bills addressing voters’ rights in Michigan.
The Senate also doubled the death benefits for the state’s emergency responders.
Senator Sue Shink said those bills are on to the house where she feels they will be supported.
