Jackson, Mich. — The Jackson Blues Festival has postponed until later this year citing limitations on social gatherings due to Covid-19. The Blues Fest, which would have taken place at the Jackson County Airport, features blues musicians from across the country and celebrates music, local food, and summer fun.
“This would have been the 20th year or 19.2 depending on how you look at it,” says longtime festival organizer Cindy Hayden Fuller. “But I want to do the responsible thing and make sure that the Blues Festival does not turn into a super spreader.”
Fuller says she is doing her part to follow the MDHHS recommendations and keep Michigan healthy and hopes to have a great festival in September. “Stay tuned!!!” says Fuller.
