Duchovny Battling Online Porn Habit David Duchovny has played down rumors he cheated on his wife after admitting to a nasty Internet porn habit. Duchovny was rumored to have cheated on his wife Tea Leoni after he entered rehab for
sex addiction last week. However, according to Fox News, Duchovny’s dependency stemmed from an obsession with online porn – of which Leoni is allegedly aware of and has been supportive. Leoni canceled an appearance at the Toronto Film Festival last week, missing the debut of her upcoming film “Ghost Town” to be by her hubby’s side.

King Of Voiceovers Dies 
Voiceover artist Don LaFontaine died Monday of complications related to a collapsed lung. He was 68. LaFontaine’s voice was unmistakable. Anyone who has been to a movie theater has heard
LaFontaine’s voice. He recently appeared in a Geico commercial. Nicknamed “King of the Movie Trailers,” LaFontaine has worked on more than 3,500 films, TV shows and other projects. He once claimed he could voice nearly 80 spots a day.

Tiger Woods Expecting Baby No. 2 
Tiger Woods and his wife Elin will soon be adding to their family. Tiger broke the news via his Web site, saying he and his wife are “proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late
winter.” The couple is already parents to 14-month-old daughter Sam Alexis.

Jerry Reed Dies  Jerry Reed died yesterday of complications from emphysema. He was 71. Reed was a singer,
songwriter, guitarist and actor whose No. 1 country hits include “When You’re Hot, You’re Hot,” “Lord, Mr. Ford” and “She Got the Goldmine (I Got the Shaft).” Reed was also known for his comedic roles in the films “Smokey and the Bandit” and “The Waterboy.”

Josh Hartnett In Hotel Library Romp Josh Hartnett’s steamy romp with a mystery woman at a London hotel was reportedly caught on camera. Hotel personnel watched as the actor and woman hit the library in London’s Soho hotel for some “hot and heavy” action. A source told U.K.’s Daily Mirror, “After the event, someone had a quiet
word in Josh’s ear and he was asked to take his personal business elsewhere in the future.”

Charges Filed In Matt McConaughey Surf War  Two surfers have been charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly throwing a photographer into the water as he tried to shoot pictures of Matthew McConaughey surfing. Skylar Peak and Philip Hildebrand are accused of confronting several paparazzi who showed up in June on a Malibu beach to take pictures of McConaughey. One of the photographers told authorities he was attacked and his camera was thrown in the ocean by the surfers after they told him to put his camera away. McConaughey was not involved in the scuffle.

Saving Superman’s House  Superman’s Cleveland, Ohio, house needs some fixing up. An online auction began yesterday to raise money to renovate the inner-city house where the idea for the Superman character was
conceived. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster hatched the idea of Superman in 1933. Hattie and Jefferson Gray have owned the home for more than 20 years. They hope to raise at least $50,000 to fix the roof, replace siding and repaint the house. Among the items up for auction are a T-shirt signed by Siegel and a walk-on role on “Heroes.”

Howard K. Stern Sues Over Lies   Anna Nicole Smith’s former lawyer/companion Howard K. Stern has filed suit against Larry Birkhead’s bodyguard and actress Jackie Hatten for spreading rumors about his sexuality and business affairs.
Stern claims Hatten and Mark Speer concocted lies and fed them to broadcaster Rita Cosby for a controversial 2007 tell-all. Stern is suing the pair for defamation. Cosby is already being sued for publishing allegations that Stern and Birkhead were gay lovers. Both have furiously denied the claims.

Blake Lewis Assembles ‘ADD’ Tour  Blake Lewis has mapped out the first leg of his next tour to support his debut album, “Audio Day Dream.” The outing kicks off September 29th in Providence, Rhode Island, and runs through late
October. Lewis, Season Six runner-up on “American Idol,” dropped his debut album last December. The album has spawned the dance-club hit “How Many Words,” which evolved into a remix EP. Lewis recently said he is signing with a new label and will have a new single out soon.

Panic At The Disco, Plain White T’s To Play LIFEbeat Benefit  Panic At The Disco and Plain White T’s will perform at the “Rock Band 2 Party” at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on September 6th. The show will benefit LIFEbeat: The Music Industry Fights AIDS, a national non-profit organization dedicated to reaching America’s youth with the message of HIV/AIDS prevention.

Amy Winehouse Brain Dead?  New details of Amy Winehouse’s drug usage have emerged – including a report that she reportedly binged on crystal meth and may have brain damage after a 36-hour marijuana stint. Winehouse, 24,
suffered two major overdoses. She allegedly suffered convulsions that were so bad it was “like a scene from ‘The Exorcist.’” Her body is so frail from drug use that doctors are scared she’ll break some bones during a fit. A close friend of Amy’s warned that one more overdose will probably kill her.

Luda Is Mr. October  Ludacris has several new projects in the works. Luda will unveil his sixth album, “Theater Of The
Mind,” on October 21st. The set features T-Pain, The Game and T.I. The lead single is “What Them Girls Like,” featuring Chris Brown. Luda said that each track on the CD is presented like a short plot for a movie. October will also bring two new Luda films – “Max Payne” is due on October 17th and “RocknRolla” comes out on Halloween.

Ruling Delayed On Spears Driving Case  A judge has delayed a decision on whether Britney Spears should stand trial for driving without a valid license. Spears’ attorney, Michael Flanagan, asked that the case be dismissed. Los Angeles
Superior Court Judge James A. Steele said he would decide later this week whether to order a trial.  Flanagan claims Spears is being targeted because of her celebrity status and says she had a valid Louisiana driver’s license when she was involved in an accident in California last year.

Ne-Yo Wins Cash In R. Kelly Concert Flap A Los Angeles judge has ordered R. Kelly’s promoter to pony up $700,320 to Ne-Yo for being dumped from Kelly’s tour last year. Ne-Yo went to court in December, alleging he was bounced from
the “Double Up” tour because his opening set was getting better reaction from fans and critics than Kelly’s. The bill also featured Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday.

Boy Band Battle New Kids On The Block have slammed the Backstreet Boys, saying their comeback will be much
more successful. The Backstreet Boys have taken several breaks from the music scene throughout their career, but have failed to reproduce the success of their heyday in the 1990s. New Kids recently reunited after 15 years and singer Danny Wood says, “Backstreet’s records sound the same as before – their music didn’t evolve like ours has. They never spoke too highly of us and said if we had talent we’d still be around. They should’ve probably kept their mouths shut!”

Usher’s ‘One Night Stand’ For Ladies Only  
Usher is preparing a tour for ladies only. Usher told The Associated Press that he will soon release details of his “One Night Stand” tour. He said specific dates are still being worked out for about 15 “intimate” venues. Usher is also planning his own line of lingerie and men’s undergarments. He already has a fragrance and cologne.
